My name is Wesley fu and I am your guide to master yourself.

Many years ago,  I left my job in marketing to pursue my dream of helping people become masters of their own body and mind.

This is why it began.

Yeah, that was me on the left. I touched my first barbell when I was 16. I remember doing benchpress for the first time with some friend's and it just so happened that I was the smallest and weakest in the group.  It wasn't a good feeling.  Not to mention growing up with typical insecurities of a teenage boy on how good you look and how cool you were. I felt like I was at the bottom. I was nothing. 0.

What I began to realize was that although there were things I couldn't change about myself.  It was within my own power to change the things I could.

As I began to work out more and lift more weights, I started receiving compliments on how buff or strong I was, or how good I looked.  I didn't realize how much confidence I was lacking, but it hit me so suddenly and it felt so surreal.  I was on top of the world.

The story doesn't end there. Though I felt good emotionally, Physically, I spent countless hours at the gym lifting as heavy as I could and broke down my body. Not only was I sore most days but my lower back or shoulders would be in pain and my movement felt overall pretty shitty. And at a certain point, I felt that I kept getting limited and would not get stronger or leaner. And eventually one day during an exercise I hurt my back and herniated my disc. I was young, I took a few weeks off but always this constant pain or uncomfortable feeling would loom over my body. I thought this was normal.  Eventually, it went away until one day it happened again. I went for a squat and BAM, my back gave out and I dropped to the floor.

It took me out of the gym for 7 months. That's only one of the few injuries I've accrued over time. That's when I decided, I must be doing something wrong.  Thus started my journey of figuring out all the problems I had in my body. Boy.... There were many.  When I started getting serious about learning biomechanics and movement patterns. I realized I didn't have the technical know-how, thus I wasn't getting the desired result. So I learned. Nothing about my time or effort at the gym changed, but my body started
to transform into the picture on the right.

Fast forward roughly 15 years later.  I am pain-free, stronger than ever doing things I never thought possible and my videos can prove it. I realized no matter the goal whether it be weight/body fat loss, gaining strength, building your physique, it all comes down to one simple thing. The ability to Master yourself. Taking control of your body and strengthening the will of your mind.
