Once I started training with him, I was opened up to a whole new world of health and fitness. Yes I had been working out and eating more consciously but I quickly learned that both my diet and workouts were sub par. Working out on my own, I had picked up poor posture and form that hindered my advancement. Without understanding the makings of a healthy diet, I was actually just going through cycles of starving myself then overeating. When I started training with Wes, all of that changed. He helped me to gain better eating habits and fixed my form so that I could lift heavier, run faster, and jump higher. Wes helped me to reset my negative mindset and started showing me that I am capable of doing everything. I also appreciated that even when I fell of course he never judged me but instead helped me to get back on track. I am so thankful to him for instilling good habits in me to help me continue improving myself. Training with Wes has given me great results, losing 20+ lbs and going from a size 12 to 6. Lastly and most importantly, at a recent doctor's visit my doctor complimented me on my improved health, my BMI had gone from overweight to normal and all my labs were great. I know I would could not have gotten these results without help. I can't recommend Wes enough, you must train with him! read less

But none of them really focused on your progression. Wesley has a firm understanding of the biomechanical reasons for why a particularly movement causes pain, but even better, he's able to convey his expertise in a learnable format that leaves me yearning for 10 more minutes each session. If you want someone who will work with you to make you find out why you're weak before you figure out how to get stronger, then spend the time to work with Wesley at least once! read less

He's very knowledgeable and focused, and emphasizes correct form while training to my goals of hypertrophy, increased flexibility, and all-around physical performance. I trained with Wes for 8 months at 24 Hour Fitness and learned a lot from him. When we first started, I was inexperienced, had never attempted any heavy compound lifts, and generally didn't enjoy lifting weights because I didn't know what I was doing. He changed that by explaining the mechanics of each lift - which muscle groups should be activated and how correct form should look and feel. I have a technical mind and want to understand what I'm doing and why, and he never failed to give a good explanation. He also did a good job of keeping me motivated without being at all obnoxious about it. We would chat between sets or talk about the training, but he stayed focus and made good use of outlet time. After a few months of training twice a week, I had learned enough to do most of my training on my own with a weekly checkup to work on any difficulties. I highly recommend training with Wes, and was sad to hear that he was leaving 24. read less

I never thought I would be able to workout to the extent I am. He is very knowledgeable and never judges you if you can't do something. He just figures out another way for you to do it. He worked out a personal program just for me and I am more fit than I have ever been. I would follow him to any gym he would go to. I was diagnosed about as a teenager with a disease of the connective tissue, and doctors had been telling me for years that I'd always be weak and grossly underweight. I've had multiple surgeries on my lungs, developed asthma and respiratory problems, and had significant joint issues that made exercising seem impossible.
When Wes began training me a few years ago, I was 6' tall and just 108 lbs, and fresh off another lung surgery. I had no idea what I was doing, but he went above and beyond to design routines and adapt exercises for my physical limitations, progressively tailored them as I went from beginner to regular gym-goer, designed a diet for me, and introduced me to supplements, and taught me to love fitness. Within just the first few months, I had already gained over 30 lbs in muscle. Today I'm a solid 160 lbs and my doctors are STILL shocked by the transformation nobody thought could ever happen. I'm happier and healthier than I've ever been, and I seriously owe it all to Wes. read less

He is very knowledgeable in what he does and truly designs his program around your goals. I'm quite petite and my experience with previous trainers is that they've never really put my size into account. Their recommendations for daily calorie intake seemed extreme and the required supplements were expensive and hard to keep up with. Wes on the other hand, accounted every element and calculated everything. He was able to make sense of his recommendations purely based on numbers and facts, which is why I decided to train with him. When I came to Wes in June 2019, I was already on my own fitness journey doing kickboxing and other cardio-based classes. However, as hard as I was training I wasn't physically where I wanted to be and with my wedding coming in November 2019 I had to tone FAST! Wes and I worked on a program that focused on toning my abdomen, back, and arms.By November 2019, I actually surpassed my goal and hit MANY PRs that I never thought possible. Aside from fitting into my dress, my proudest accomplishments were my push ups and pull ups. My max rep used to be about 5 push ups, and had never been able to do a pull up in my entire life. After training with Wes, I am proud to say I can do 20+ push ups and 4 pull ups among many other things! This is physically the strongest I have ever been in my entire life and I owe it all to Wes.So if you are looking for a trainer who will challenge you and push you to do that extra rep, call you out on your bs and encourage you when you're in doubt, then Wes is definitely the trainer for you! My workout routines were well designed to give a complete workout for the day. I was working out with him 3 times a week but never got bored of exercises because he explained me how to do right forms and how it impacts my body.Working out with him for a year, I completely transformed my body strength without any pain or injuries.. Because of his efforts, I am stronger and more flexible, I have better balance and most importantly, working out has become fun.
