When l began, my rule was simple: "Do Not Kill me." I was diagnosed with tendinitis, Carpal Tunnel and anything that can be diagnosed for my hands, l had it on both hands! I had a lot of restrictions that made Wes's job as my personal trainer very difficult. Wes started by trying to understand what was the cause of my issues. He introduced me to rolling on foam roller- when l started l was so tight that l really wished l could use pain killers before working out...gradually l improved that I am almost normal. Wes understands a lot of medical diagnosis, if he doesn't know or understand, he'll do research to help him to help his customers out. I am lucky to have him for a personal trainer! But none of them really focused on your progression. Wesley has a firm understanding of the biomechanical reasons for why a particularly movement causes pain, but even better, he's able to convey his expertise in a learnable format that leaves me yearning for 10 more minutes each session. If you want someone who will work with you to make you find out why you're weak before you figure out how to get stronger, then spend the time to work with Wesley at least once! read less

Yes I... read moreI started training with Wes when my own work outs were no longer giving me the progress I wanted. Once I started training with him, I was opened up to a whole new world of health and fitness. Yes I had been working out and eating more consciously but I quickly learned that both my diet and workouts were sub par. Working out on my own, I had picked up poor posture and form that hindered my advancement. Without understanding the makings of a healthy diet, I was actually just going through cycles of starving myself then overeating. When I started training with Wes, all of that changed. He helped me to gain better eating habits and fixed my form so that I could lift heavier, run faster, and jump higher. Wes helped me to reset my negative mindset and started showing me that I am capable of doing everything. I also appreciated that even when I fell of course he never judged me but instead helped me to get back on track. I am so thankful to him for instilling good habits in me to help me continue improving myself. Training with Wes has given me great results, losing 20+ lbs and going from a size 12 to 6. Lastly and most importantly, at a recent doctor's visit my doctor complimented me on my improved health, my BMI had gone from overweight to normal and all my labs were great. I know I would could not have gotten these results without help. I can't recommend Wes enough, you must train with him! read less

His passion is infectious changing me from a casual gym goer to someone who sets goals and achieved them for my overall health. In and out of the gym Wes is available for information or inspiration. Truly a someone who loves what they are doing and it shows in his passionate approach to health and fitness.
In all honesty, his methods compared to previous personal trainers are night and day. He pays great attention to detail and works with you until you have the proper form/technique; as well as educating you on the mechanics of the movement to perform the movement safely with maximum efficiency. His patience and guidance have helped me work around and overcome injuries and I've come back stronger/fitter than ever before. All this combined has really helped me get back into the gym and stay at 100%. read less

I told him I was not... read moreI first met Wes when he was working as a personal trainer at 24 Hour Fitness. He randomly approached me about personal training when I was checking in at the front desk. I told him I was not interested and that no one would motivate me more to go to the gym than myself. As I walked away ... he continued to convince me to give it shot and try a free consultation which included weight/body fat measurements, several exercises to determine fitness level, and a discussion of fitness goals.
I knew I was unfit when I met him, but he made me realize how bad it really was. I was at my worst weight gain of my life at 155 pounds. As skeptical as I was with having a personal trainer, I signed up for 20 sessions of personal training with Wes. You probably think Wes pressured me or was a super aggressive salesperson to get me to sign up... you're WRONG! It was his honest feedback about my health and his genuine desire to help me be in a better state of health.
Flash forward, I have been training with Wes for four years now and I cannot express how much I love Wes. Over the years I have known him, I am always incredibly impressed by the wealth of knowledge he has on exercise, muscle groups, diet, stretching, etc. I can ask him anything and he always has a very scientific, thorough explanation for me every time! Wes' dedication to his work can be seen by his constant adjustments to my posture/form when we complete any exercise. He constantly pushes me to do more reps or more weight than I think that I can achieve. Not only is Wes great at building my strength and flexibility, he also addresses many of my aches/pains/knots throughout my body with stretching, rolling, and massages.
From strangers, to personal trainer, to one of my closest friends who I love and trust. Wes doesn't sugar coat anything or act like a drill sergeant that pushes you till you throw up. He's calm, understanding, and constantly finds ways to help me overcome my struggles (especially w/ food)! He has helped me accomplish more than I could hope for and I am so incredibly happy to have met him. Being someone who is so skeptical about personal training, I am happy to have met Wes 4 years ago. If you are someone who thinks personal training is a "waste of time" or it's "not for you"... give Wes a try! I have convinced 3 of my coworkers to train with him and they are all so happy with the introduction and the results they have seen with him. He fixed all the forms I thought I was doing it right. Fixed the tightness/pain on my legs that was affecting some movements. It was like getting a physical therapy session too, crazy! Plus he's genuine, professional and always happy. I live in a different state and I really wish there's a "find a personal trainer like Wes" search option! read less

I was diagnosed about as a teenager with a disease of the connective tissue, and doctors had been telling me for years that I'd always be weak and grossly underweight. I've had multiple surgeries on my lungs, developed asthma and respiratory problems, and had significant joint issues that made exercising seem impossible.
When Wes began training me a few years ago, I was 6' tall and just 108 lbs, and fresh off another lung surgery. I had no idea what I was doing, but he went above and beyond to design routines and adapt exercises for my physical limitations, progressively tailored them as I went from beginner to regular gym-goer, designed a diet for me, and introduced me to supplements, and taught me to love fitness. Within just the first few months, I had already gained over 30 lbs in muscle. Today I'm a solid 160 lbs and my doctors are STILL shocked by the transformation nobody thought could ever happen. I'm happier and healthier than I've ever been, and I seriously owe it all to Wes. read less

His knowledge and passion towards his craft is respectable. Through him I also realized that my thousands of dollars spent on acupressure and Chiro would never stop unless I fix my movement and mobility. Previously I just thought this was to lose weight but now it has become so much more.
