Through all his knowledge and motivation, I have learned beyond just "doing a workout", I have learned how to do the exercises in detail, and why I should do them to benefit me. Training and working out with Wes is more than just a "workout" it's learning more about my body and things about it I had no idea of, and helps me live more pain free. The way Wes explains things has been extremely beneficial and I am better able to help my clients because of him. Wesley is extremely welcoming, knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and dedicated. I loved the location- amazing views and farm animal sounds while working out and Wesley is always adding more amazing touches and equipment to his gym. Highly recommend!! I left the Bay Area but plan to come back to pop in for a work out every time I visit San Jose! read less

I was diagnosed about as a teenager with a disease of the connective tissue, and doctors had been telling me for years that I'd always be weak and grossly underweight. I've had multiple surgeries on my lungs, developed asthma and respiratory problems, and had significant joint issues that made exercising seem impossible.
When Wes began training me a few years ago, I was 6' tall and just 108 lbs, and fresh off another lung surgery. I had no idea what I was doing, but he went above and beyond to design routines and adapt exercises for my physical limitations, progressively tailored them as I went from beginner to regular gym-goer, designed a diet for me, and introduced me to supplements, and taught me to love fitness. Within just the first few months, I had already gained over 30 lbs in muscle. Today I'm a solid 160 lbs and my doctors are STILL shocked by the transformation nobody thought could ever happen. I'm happier and healthier than I've ever been, and I seriously owe it all to Wes. read less

He has a vast amount of knowledge on proper form and biomechanics. He analyzed my posture and noticed that I had an anterior pelvic tilt and helped identify what I was doing wrong that might be causing the issue. He helped me address the issue with a variety of stretches and exercises that I still use to this day. After training with Wes, I now have a better understanding of biomechanics which influences all of the exercises I do. My squat and deadlift form is damn near perfect now. I would highly recommend him to anyone because the educational aspect of what he does is invaluable. read less

I originally had goals to get back to my college form, but was able to surpass those goals in less time. I have since reached new personal records and have been more motivated than years prior to maintain and keep pushing for improvement. The best part about working with Wes is his technical knowledge of the movements performed during training sessions and his attention to detail with form. I never thought I would be able to workout to the extent I am. He is very knowledgeable and never judges you if you can't do something. He just figures out another way for you to do it. He worked out a personal program just for me and I am more fit than I have ever been. I would follow him to any gym he would go to. After five years of pain after a lumbar gym injury, I worked with a specialist chiropractor that reduced the pain but I was unable to build my muscles properly to fix the pain. Wes has built a beautiful outdoor gym on the hillside with stunning sunset views. But more to the point, Wes has been absolutely clinical on my form the past six weeks. I work out on my own with light weights between our sessions, focusing on form. Wes is always happy to answer questions and makes sure to explain the basics of movement, biomechanics and form. I have started to do barbell squats again and my pain is almost gone. I hope the next few weeks will provide complete pain relief and allow me to run again. I cannot recommend Wes enough, "low risk high reward " is the only way to approach the gym. I love the drive up to his gym, and thoroughly enjoy our conversations and training. Wes is like that gregarious body building friend you always wanted but never quite had. Go for it! Six weeks in, if you do your homework, you will be super happy you chose Wes ! I went to Wes for several sessions of training to fix my pain and he was not only very personable but also very knowledgeable. He taught me stretches and workouts to strengthen my back for better posture. I only had 4 sessions with him and my back has already gotten significantly better.
He keeps in contact with you and sends you workouts to do at home and he gives advice on what diets to take. He really cares for his client's well-being and health. Best money spent. I would recommend his training to anyone. read less
