When l began, my rule was simple: "Do Not Kill me." I was diagnosed with tendinitis, Carpal Tunnel and anything that can be diagnosed for my hands, l had it on both hands! I had a lot of restrictions that made Wes's job as my personal trainer very difficult. Wes started by trying to understand what was the cause of my issues. He introduced me to rolling on foam roller- when l started l was so tight that l really wished l could use pain killers before working out...gradually l improved that I am almost normal. Wes understands a lot of medical diagnosis, if he doesn't know or understand, he'll do research to help him to help his customers out. I am lucky to have him for a personal trainer! I appreciate that he tracks actual metrics and numbers to make sure you are on track to reach your goals. I'm always impressed at how observant he is when watching form. He always seems to pick up on tiny details in how I'm performing exercises and uses this to improve form and identify other areas for improvement. I highly recommend training with Wes! read less

He has a vast amount of knowledge on proper form and biomechanics. He analyzed my posture and noticed that I had an anterior pelvic tilt and helped identify what I was doing wrong that might be causing the issue. He helped me address the issue with a variety of stretches and exercises that I still use to this day. After training with Wes, I now have a better understanding of biomechanics which influences all of the exercises I do. My squat and deadlift form is damn near perfect now. I would highly recommend him to anyone because the educational aspect of what he does is invaluable. read less

Yes I... read moreI started training with Wes when my own work outs were no longer giving me the progress I wanted. Once I started training with him, I was opened up to a whole new world of health and fitness. Yes I had been working out and eating more consciously but I quickly learned that both my diet and workouts were sub par. Working out on my own, I had picked up poor posture and form that hindered my advancement. Without understanding the makings of a healthy diet, I was actually just going through cycles of starving myself then overeating. When I started training with Wes, all of that changed. He helped me to gain better eating habits and fixed my form so that I could lift heavier, run faster, and jump higher. Wes helped me to reset my negative mindset and started showing me that I am capable of doing everything. I also appreciated that even when I fell of course he never judged me but instead helped me to get back on track. I am so thankful to him for instilling good habits in me to help me continue improving myself. Training with Wes has given me great results, losing 20+ lbs and going from a size 12 to 6. Lastly and most importantly, at a recent doctor's visit my doctor complimented me on my improved health, my BMI had gone from overweight to normal and all my labs were great. I know I would could not have gotten these results without help. I can't recommend Wes enough, you must train with him! read less

Just working out and talking life with you. You have encouraged me to push forward on more things in life than just my fitness. I appreciate you so much! Don't doubt Wes one bit. This guy knows his stuff. I was going on 1 year of sciatic pain and one month away from surgery. Thankyou Wes for Making my days brighter again and help me relieve this dreadful pain that would haunt me from the moment I stepped out of bed. I was so scared of surgery and Wes was my final hope. His passion is infectious changing me from a casual gym goer to someone who sets goals and achieved them for my overall health. In and out of the gym Wes is available for information or inspiration. Truly a someone who loves what they are doing and it shows in his passionate approach to health and fitness.
In all honesty, his methods compared to previous personal trainers are night and day. He pays great attention to detail and works with you until you have the proper form/technique; as well as educating you on the mechanics of the movement to perform the movement safely with maximum efficiency. His patience and guidance have helped me work around and overcome injuries and I've come back stronger/fitter than ever before. All this combined has really helped me get back into the gym and stay at 100%. read less

Wes is the only one I kept cos he cares about my progress, helped me to build a food intake and nutrition tracking behavior. He is not those who uses the same routine for everybody. He helped me to build up my routine custom for my situation and needs. He started me with a lighter load so I don't get burned out and deflated after working out, slowly I started to enjoy working out. Recently I moved to some 60 miles away but I still kept my Sunday routine with Wes! read less
