What's great about Wes is that he pays so much attention to you as a client and really tailors your program for you. This includes how specifically you move and what you need in terms of moving and feeling better. Great guy to talk too as well. Definately does not live up to the "scary trainer" stigma. read less

I appreciate that he tracks actual metrics and numbers to make sure you are on track to reach your goals. I'm always impressed at how observant he is when watching form. He always seems to pick up on tiny details in how I'm performing exercises and uses this to improve form and identify other areas for improvement. I highly recommend training with Wes! read less

When he first came to Wesley, he had no idea on how to get into lifting, he could barely lift the bar on the bench press. Wesley taught him a vast array of exercises and went all nine yards making sure his form was immaculate. He is vastly more confident in his ability to lift and more motivated about fitness than ever before. I would highly recommend Wesley for any fitness goal you wish to accomplish. read less

I was diagnosed about as a teenager with a disease of the connective tissue, and doctors had been telling me for years that I'd always be weak and grossly underweight. I've had multiple surgeries on my lungs, developed asthma and respiratory problems, and had significant joint issues that made exercising seem impossible.
When Wes began training me a few years ago, I was 6' tall and just 108 lbs, and fresh off another lung surgery. I had no idea what I was doing, but he went above and beyond to design routines and adapt exercises for my physical limitations, progressively tailored them as I went from beginner to regular gym-goer, designed a diet for me, and introduced me to supplements, and taught me to love fitness. Within just the first few months, I had already gained over 30 lbs in muscle. Today I'm a solid 160 lbs and my doctors are STILL shocked by the transformation nobody thought could ever happen. I'm happier and healthier than I've ever been, and I seriously owe it all to Wes. read less

After five years of pain after a lumbar gym injury, I worked with a specialist chiropractor that reduced the pain but I was unable to build my muscles properly to fix the pain. Wes has built a beautiful outdoor gym on the hillside with stunning sunset views. But more to the point, Wes has been absolutely clinical on my form the past six weeks. I work out on my own with light weights between our sessions, focusing on form. Wes is always happy to answer questions and makes sure to explain the basics of movement, biomechanics and form. I have started to do barbell squats again and my pain is almost gone. I hope the next few weeks will provide complete pain relief and allow me to run again. I cannot recommend Wes enough, "low risk high reward " is the only way to approach the gym. I love the drive up to his gym, and thoroughly enjoy our conversations and training. Wes is like that gregarious body building friend you always wanted but never quite had. Go for it! Six weeks in, if you do your homework, you will be super happy you chose Wes ! But none of them really focused on your progression. Wesley has a firm understanding of the biomechanical reasons for why a particularly movement causes pain, but even better, he's able to convey his expertise in a learnable format that leaves me yearning for 10 more minutes each session. If you want someone who will work with you to make you find out why you're weak before you figure out how to get stronger, then spend the time to work with Wesley at least once! read less

He is very knowledgeable in what he does and truly designs his program around your goals. I'm quite petite and my experience with previous trainers is that they've never really put my size into account. Their recommendations for daily calorie intake seemed extreme and the required supplements were expensive and hard to keep up with. Wes on the other hand, accounted every element and calculated everything. He was able to make sense of his recommendations purely based on numbers and facts, which is why I decided to train with him. When I came to Wes in June 2019, I was already on my own fitness journey doing kickboxing and other cardio-based classes. However, as hard as I was training I wasn't physically where I wanted to be and with my wedding coming in November 2019 I had to tone FAST! Wes and I worked on a program that focused on toning my abdomen, back, and arms.By November 2019, I actually surpassed my goal and hit MANY PRs that I never thought possible. Aside from fitting into my dress, my proudest accomplishments were my push ups and pull ups. My max rep used to be about 5 push ups, and had never been able to do a pull up in my entire life. After training with Wes, I am proud to say I can do 20+ push ups and 4 pull ups among many other things! This is physically the strongest I have ever been in my entire life and I owe it all to Wes.So if you are looking for a trainer who will challenge you and push you to do that extra rep, call you out on your bs and encourage you when you're in doubt, then Wes is definitely the trainer for you!
