I originally had goals to get back to my college form, but was able to surpass those goals in less time. I have since reached new personal records and have been more motivated than years prior to maintain and keep pushing for improvement. The best part about working with Wes is his technical knowledge of the movements performed during training sessions and his attention to detail with form. I have trained with Wes for almost 18 months and he is the perfect combination of tough and warm, and he works with the whole person -- mentally, emotionally and physically. Because of his efforts, I am stronger and more flexible, I have better balance and most importantly, working out has become fun. I believe this is because Wes not only understands the science of personal training, he also understands the science of motivation. He not only motivates you but more importantly teaches you to motivate yourself. Best part about training with Wes is that he explains the mechanics of each workout in a very detailed manner which enables me to workout right and avoid injuries even when I am not training with him. He is versatile when it comes to different types of training whether it be for weightloss, overall fitness, or strength development. I have learned so much from him and have seen results. What's great about Wes is that he pays so much attention to you as a client and really tailors your program for you. This includes how specifically you move and what you need in terms of moving and feeling better. Great guy to talk too as well. Definately does not live up to the "scary trainer" stigma. read less

When he first came to Wesley, he had no idea on how to get into lifting, he could barely lift the bar on the bench press. Wesley taught him a vast array of exercises and went all nine yards making sure his form was immaculate. He is vastly more confident in his ability to lift and more motivated about fitness than ever before. I would highly recommend Wesley for any fitness goal you wish to accomplish. read less

He was constantly switching up my circuits with new and creative workouts. He always listened to me and would help safely work on areas that were tight or had a previous injury. I miss working out with him dearly but I still to this day do many many of the exercises and circuits he taught me! read less

He is very knowledgeable in what he does and truly designs his program around your goals. I'm quite petite and my experience with previous trainers is that they've never really put my size into account. Their recommendations for daily calorie intake seemed extreme and the required supplements were expensive and hard to keep up with. Wes on the other hand, accounted every element and calculated everything. He was able to make sense of his recommendations purely based on numbers and facts, which is why I decided to train with him. When I came to Wes in June 2019, I was already on my own fitness journey doing kickboxing and other cardio-based classes. However, as hard as I was training I wasn't physically where I wanted to be and with my wedding coming in November 2019 I had to tone FAST! Wes and I worked on a program that focused on toning my abdomen, back, and arms.By November 2019, I actually surpassed my goal and hit MANY PRs that I never thought possible. Aside from fitting into my dress, my proudest accomplishments were my push ups and pull ups. My max rep used to be about 5 push ups, and had never been able to do a pull up in my entire life. After training with Wes, I am proud to say I can do 20+ push ups and 4 pull ups among many other things! This is physically the strongest I have ever been in my entire life and I owe it all to Wes.So if you are looking for a trainer who will challenge you and push you to do that extra rep, call you out on your bs and encourage you when you're in doubt, then Wes is definitely the trainer for you! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! read less

I never thought I would be able to workout to the extent I am. He is very knowledgeable and never judges you if you can't do something. He just figures out another way for you to do it. He worked out a personal program just for me and I am more fit than I have ever been. I would follow him to any gym he would go to. He is such a versatile and flexible trainer who is willing to hear you out on whatever fitness goals you have. For me, I had the goal of deadlifting over 135lbs last year and felt like it was impossible. Wes helped me out with my deadlift form and made sure I got the right biomechanics down with each movement. Because of Wes's sharp and keen eye, my deadlift form became pristine in which i was able to deadlift over 200lbs within a span of 3-4 months.
Wes is definitely full of wisdom and knowledge and will answer questions to the best of his ability from what he's learned. He's definitely an honest guy who will help you, not only fitness related things, but will definitely give good conversations about anything! read less
